Ingredients (3 servings)
- 400 gchickpeas (canned)
- 250 gall-purpose flour
- 60 gyogurt
- 2 mediumonion
- 2 mediumtomato
- 2 tbspginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbspchole masala
- 1 tspcumin seeds
- 500 mlvegetable oil
- 0.5 tspbaking soda
- 10 gfresh cilantro
Instructions

For bhature, mix flour, yogurt, baking soda, salt, and a little oil. Knead into a soft dough, rest for 30 minutes.

For chole, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Sauté onions until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste, cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.

Add chole masala, turmeric, and salt. Add chickpeas with some water, simmer for 20 minutes.

Roll out bhature dough into oval shapes and deep fry until puffed and golden.
