- 100 gurad dal
- 100 gtoor dal
- 1 piecedrumstick
- 1 mediumtomato
- 1 smallonion
- 2 tbspsambar powder
- 1 tbsptamarind paste
- 1 tspmustard seeds
- 1 tbspvegetable oil
Instructions

Soak rice and urad dal separately for 6-8 hours, then grind into a smooth batter and ferment overnight.

Pour batter into greased idli molds and steam for 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

For sambar, pressure cook toor dal until soft.

Sauté onion, tomato, and drumstick pieces with sambar powder and tamarind paste.
